A screen comes up that then asks you to pause the DVD at that exact point and go through the set of questions we’ve broken out for you for that specific topic. Attempting them is extremely important though, as it helps us determine where and why you might be getting stuck. So, after attempting the questions, we come back together and go through them to determine exactly where you might have stumbled and how you can improve.

Remember, you are only allowed 2 minutes per question so it’s very important you know the quickest way to answer each one. We show you exactly how to do that. The material gradually builds upon itself until you are getting more and more questions right, which increases your confidence, which increases your score.

This varies for each individual, but if you follow the video and do the required problems, you should be ready to take the official GMAT as soon as the course is over – within one or two weeks. Studying for the GMAT is intense and requires energy, attention, and effort. Cramming for two days immediately before the test will result in decreased retention, nervousness, and a “what did I learn in the last two weeks?” feeling. We advise our students to take at least 2 computer-based GMAT practice tests before their official one, in order to get accustomed to the pressure and timing of the test. Finishing our course and taking the GMAT the next day doesn’t allow for that and it’s not something we advise.
